“You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us. And the world will live as one.”
 John Lennon

I do not live in this world with the fancies of life. I live with the material needs grounded to my true nature.

I come from a city called Lucknow, where I grew up to be a depressed reclusive child. We were a small family of four.Mom, Dad, my sister Anju and I. My father passed away when I was 7 years old, we didn't have much of a support of the family and finances either. My father's death created a big void in me. I didn't feel like meeting any one or doing anything. My mother was struggling herself to cope up with his absence, bringing us up and to earn the bread. She didn't know how to handle me as I wouldn't do much of studies or work at home. By God's grace, I survived as I started giving tuition at the age of 16 and kept myself busy with some job or the other till the time I got married. Not that any of the work gave me any peace, yet it kept me going. I didn't have many friends, only a friend with who I was comfortable with and she also passed away when we were in graduation 2nd year.

I shifted to Mumbai after quitting my fashion designing course.Started working as an assistant costume designer for a television series. After couple of years I met my husband. Got married in the year 2000.Life started looking little better yet not settled.

There came a time in my life when I was totally off balance. When it became too much to handle, in order to sort my own life out I started looking for help.  Reiki came into my life when I was pregnant with my son Dhruv back in 2002. Dhruv and Reiki brought in much needed peace and love in my life. And in the process I realized life has so many wonderful aspects, dimensions to it.Now it is up to us which side of the coin we want to look at. The one which shows us love, joy, peace, harmony or the one which creates the imbalance, disharmony, restlessness.

It has been 12 years since I connected with Reiki. Reiki brought in calmness and centered me. It opened a new, wonderful realm to me. I got more and more interested and involved into Spirituality. Having done a lot of self-studies and attending Workshops on how Metaphysics and Spirituality really works; I was and still am totally amazed with the results I get in my life. I feel cosmic presence in every sphere of my life, be it physical, mental, emotional or material.

Angels have stepped in various ways in the form of energy, in the form of friends, family. They have always been with me, I took my own time to recognize and connect with them.

Back in 2009, with intent to lose weight I signed myself up for a course on Vegan diet and Nutrition, not knowing it will change the path of my life forever. It directed my attention to sensitivity of the human physical form to finer energies within us,the realization came to me “We are what we eat.”

Now when I talk about eating it is not only about what we consume from our mouth, but also what we absorb through our minds and our environment!

Life is a journey and all of us are travelers, we choose our paths, taking one step at a time to reach our goals, I feel and believe that the simpler and lighter you travel, faster it is to reach your goals. And if, in this journey if you have fellow travelers along with you, who you can trust, depend, connect and have fun with. This whole journey becomes a celebration at each step.
